Step 2—Creating Your Post-It Note Timeline

The “post-it note timeline” is a systematic way of seeing where God has been working in the past as a way of understanding where God may be leading you in the future. The past has shaped your values and laid the foundation for your vision of God’s preferred future.

Step 3—Further Reflection on Your Timeline

A series of questions will help you learn more from your timeline.

Step 4—Interpreting Your Timeline

You will prayerfully identify how God has been at work in your life and the lessons God taught you in each chapter of your life.

Step 5—God’s Processing

The special focus of this step will be on how God has used events to shape your character, perspective, passions, and values.

Step6—Refining Your Timeline

You will review your post-it note timeline and find a way to put it into a more highly organized story.

Step 7—Discovering and Naming Core Values

Step 4—Synthesizing
